After years of going to Vegas, it was time to venture outside of shopping and outlets malls and explore the surrounding landscape. While sitting in standstill traffic headed towards Hoover Dam, we decided to turn around and head to the Red Rock Canyon National Park. From miles of hiking trails to picnic areas with horseback riding nearby, I wish we had reserved a whole day at the park. It was gorgeous and I highly recommend taking a moment to put your frozen pina colada from the Paris hotel down (which isn't even that good) and venture west to see the natural beauty.
Even if this thing is caged, it's still scary...
