...a few shots from our visit to Carter Mountain Apple Orchard. Their apple donuts and cider are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've been visiting since childhood (conveniently sits nears my high school). However, this visit was a bit different with the screeching sounds of cicadas surrounding the property. Apparently southern Albemarle is experiencing the cicada season far worse then central and northern Albemarle so far. Despite these hideous bugs, I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
