The first roll from my new medium format camera, the Pentax 645N, just came back and I'm IN LOVE to say the least. So what's the difference between medium format and 35mm film (the only film I posted previously) you might ask? Medium format exposes a larger area of film resulting in higher resolution images (i.e., more detail) than 35mm does. There are different sizes of medium format but the one I have exposes an area 6 cm x 4.5 cm. Greater detail --> better landscape images. Here's a little preview of the results. Come back tomorrow for more of Charlottesville and Aspen.
Cheers!
